Why We Became Speech Therapists
Our journey into speech therapy began when we witnessed firsthand how early intervention transformed a family member's ability to communicate. That powerful moment showed us how the right support can change a child's trajectory and give them confidence that lasts a lifetime.
After four years as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, we pursued our master's degree and spent an additional four years in the public school system. This experience gave us invaluable insight into how children learn in different environments and how to advocate for them within educational systems.
We founded SunRise Speech Therapy with a simple mission: to provide personalized, high-quality speech therapy without the long waiting lists that delay critical early intervention. Being bilingual in Spanish and English also allows us to serve our diverse Orange County community with cultural and linguistic sensitivity.

- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)
- California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board License

Our Approach to Speech Therapy
We believe speech therapy should be fun and engaging. Children learn best when they are enjoying themselves, and our approach focuses on creating environments where children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to communicate.
Our therapy approach is built on three core principles:

In-home therapy allows me to work with your child in their most comfortable setting, using their own toys and daily routines to make speech practice relevant and meaningful.

Our experience in the public school system gives us unique insight into IEPs and academic expectations. We ensure therapy goals align with educational needs to support your child's success in all environments.
